Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that Skull Kid (complete with Majora’s Mask) will be featured in Super Smash Bros. For 3DS & Wii U! Unfortunately (or not, depending on your opinion), he will not be a playable fighter, but rather just an assist trophy. Even so, it’s still pretty cool in my opinion and points towards the fairly persistent rumors that a Majora’s Mask remake is in the works (especially combined with the other mentions/nods to Majora’s Mask recently).
